Camping puts you in the middle of the adventure! Join your fellow Headliners for up to five days of fun and a welcoming community of friends at Middlelands camping, conveniently located at the festival site.

We offer an array of camping experiences — from simple car camping to a customized glamping environment. Whatever your preference, all are invited to create their own theme camps. We encourage you to let your imagination run wild and deck out your campsite in a way that expresses your creativity and adds to the energy of the camping community! Middlelands also encourages carpooling. The more friends you bring with you, the more affordable your camping package becomes.

All festival pass holders (including non-campers) may enter the campground during festival hours and up until 4am each festival day to visit their friends — or make new ones! — and enjoy Conqueror’s Court and the Enchanted Grove. At Conqueror’s Court, you’ll find a communal bonfire, 24‐hour food trucks and grocery store, camping essentials, and much more. CAMPGROUND FEATURES

ARCHERY TAG

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, starting at 10am in the Enchanted Grove (nearest Conqueror’s Court) as part of the Campsite Competitions!

Archery Tag is played similarly to dodgeball, but with bows and foam-tipped arrows. Two teams, each consisting of five players, are separated by a “safe zone.” There are two objectives: 1) to hit the opponents, and 2) to knock out the five discs of the opposing team’s target. Eliminate a player by hitting them with an arrow or by catching their arrow. The 5-Spot Targets work to save a “life” of one of the players. A “hit” player can be called back into the game when a target spot is knocked out or when a teammate catches an arrow.

CAMPING FAQ

Please check this site frequently, as camping information is subject to change, and further items may be added to the lists above. If you have camping questions that aren’t answered below, please contact us, and we’ll respond as quickly as possible. Thank you!

Q: Does a camping pass include general festival entry?
A: No. To camp at Middlelands, you must purchase both a festival ticket and a camping pass.

Q: Can I buy a single-night camping pass?
A: No single-night camping passes will be sold. Only full weekend passes are available.

Q: My friend bought my camping pass for me. How do I pick it up?
A: Just bring a photocopy of your friend’s credit card and ID.

Q: The second half of my group is arriving after I am. How do they receive their camping wristbands?
A:
They simply need to visit our box office during camping check-in hours and provide the name and order number attached to your group’s camping pass.

Q: If you confiscate something, can I get it back at the end of the weekend?
A: Prohibited items confiscated at any point — whether at entry or throughout the weekend — will NOT be returned. Please see the above list of prohibited items and read it carefully. If you have a question as to whether something is permitted, contact info@insomniac.com. If you’re unsure about an item, we advise you to leave it at home.

Q: Are we allowed to sleep in our cars/oversize vans?
A: No. Sleeping in cars or vans can be a serious health risk due to heat. We do not advise this for anyone!

Q: Will there be a general store in the camping area?
A: Yes! It will be open the entire time that the campground is open.

Q: May I bring my own personal grill or cooking appliance?
A: You may bring a small propane grill.

Q: Are there showers in the campground?
A: Yes. We offer showers, portable toilets and potable water.

Q: Can I camp without a vehicle?
A: Middlelands is designed as a car camping festival, and it is highly recommended that you use one of our existing camping options. However, you will not be required to camp with a car. Since we do not offer a tent-only camping option, a car camping pass must be purchased. Campers arriving without a car must register upon entry, and each campsite will be limited to four (4) people due to health and safety regulations for this area. If you have questions about camping without a car or accommodations, please message us.
