Why you should be listening: This bearded ambassador of booty bass is essentially a house music prodigy. At 13, he got his first set of decks, and before the year was out, he already had his first club gig in his Bristol hometown. By the time young Will was 16, he was rubbing elbows with the big dogs in Ibiza, where he held a residency at Kanya. It was in between these two disparate worlds in club land that he developed his take on house music: bass-forward UK beats with a touch of Balearic class. Since catching the ear of Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke a couple of years back, he’s become one of the label’s most prolific players.

Take a spin: When you think of Dirtybird, this is the sound that immediately comes to mind: funky minimalism and chest-thumping subs paired with a mildly inappropriate hook you shouldn’t sing out loud on the train. This track was originally made as a bootleg for Will’s sets. After being passed around to his homies, it became one of the most requested jams from the Dirtybird crew. It was so popular that DJ Funk and Will decided to link up on an official release.
